Owning things, collecting the DVDs, CDs, books, vinyl, etc for yourself has lost its value in the rise of streaming. And that's bad for the creators and the audience. What are you going to do your music gets pulled off Spotify? Or, say, the company decides to delete an entire movie--finished and everything!--with no warning to any of the cast and crew. There's value in owning things you enjoy, and we need to bring it back.
